Early WWll Russian Bomber Dash Clock
$369.00

UPDATE:  After a couple years of searching, my Ukrainian friend has finally located TWO of these incredible EARLY WWll dash clocks, as well as TWO of the slightly newer WWll Style, along with an incredible TANK DASH CLOCK! The one pictured is in outstanding condition! It's been cleaned and serviced, ready to ship!  These are rare, so don't wait!  ORDER TODAY!

This is a very rare EARLY WWII era RUSSIAN Aircraft dash clock.  It is mechanical, not electric, is very high quality with a jeweled movement, and runs for 5 days on a wind up.  My research tells me it was likely used in smaller fighter aircraft, like the Polikarpov I-16 Ishak (Little Donkey).  This was the first monoplane airplane with a fully enclosed cockpit and retractable landing gear and was used during WWII.  Don't forget the Russians were our staunch ALLIES during WWll, and were instrumental in ending the war with Nazi Germany!

These clocks are almost impossible to find these days, and when a Ukrainian friend told me he had located 2 of them, I purchased them both.  (Boxtop picture just shows Crylic writing - Proof these WERE sent from the former USSR!)  These cool clocks have the look of an old European Auto Dash Clock.  They would make a great addition to any Hot Rod build!   They mount flush with 4 screws, like any old aircraft gauge.  They are 2 7/8" on the square, the dial is about 2 1/4" in diameter, and they stand about 3/4" tall.  They feature a black  out face, with "glow in the dark", (probably Radium?), numerals, hands and markings.   The two clocks I have listed here are the only ones of this type I have found in many years!  And believe me, I have looked!

They show a little wear here & there, but nothing of signifance.  Not surprising considering it's about 70 years old!  This clock is in excellent operating condition, and keeps perfect time.  The small dial with a single hand on the left is a second hand.

I guarantee you will never see these on the car next to yours at your next Hot Rod Show!  I had 1 of these that was similar a couple years ago that I got from the same source, and I sold it before I could even get it listed on the website.  These likely won't last long, so don't think about it too long...When these two are gone, that's it, THERE ARE NO MORE!  ORDER TODAY!

Show Grade Shorty Style Hood Straps
$399.00
These “Show Grade Shorty Style Hood Straps” aren’t for everybody, or for every build, but if you’re looking for a set of hood straps that will fit perfectly on that show winning build, this is the set!

We all know the difference between a show winner and all the rest, right? It’s all in the details…The regular Shorty Style hood straps we make are fantastic, they're impossible to beat for those running only a hood top. They work properly, look outstanding and would be fine for 99% of the Hot Rods being built. But for that 1% of you that have to have the finest, here they are. What’s so special about them, how do they differ from all the rest? Here’s the list:

- All the Stainless Steel hardware has been carefully selected for the best castings, then cut and polished to a mirror like shine-about 5 hours of polishing goes into each set.

- The 1.25” leather straps are carefully selected for the best leather, then split down the center, and the two finished sides are glued back to back, so there is a nice finished side on both the front & the back of the straps.

- The two sides are then stitched together, and using an old saddle makers trick, the stitch is set down into a small groove, so the thread is countersunk into the leather to avoid wear.

- The edges of the straps are rounded over using a “French edger”, then burnished smooth with a bone burnishing tool.

- The straps are then dyed the color of your choice 3 times, including the backs and edges.

- The edges are then burnished smooth again.

- The straps are then clear coated, 4 coats, with an acrylic saddle makers clear that protects them from UV damage and water damage, yet still allows the character of the leather to show through. They are then hand buffed to a mellow shine.

-They are then carefully hand assembled with steel double cap rivets that have a polished nickel finish.

That's it, one set of Show Grade Shorty Hood Straps! These “SHOW GRADE SHORTY STYLE HOOD STRAPS” aren’t for everybody, or for every build, but if you’re looking for a set of hood straps that will fit perfectly on that show winning build, or you simply have to have the BEST, this is the set! And, they are available in virtually ANY color, just name the color you want, and we'll supply you with samples and we'll go from there. Learn More

Vintage P-51 Mustang Speedometer
$395.00

This is an incredibly rare, vintage WWII Aircraft Speedo, out of a P-51 Mustang. The person I acquired this from is a well respected collector and dealer in aero-mobilia, so I have no reason to doubt what I was told about it. It is clearly broken, at least the glass is, but that just adds to the "cool" factor, if you ask me...Notice anything unusual about this gauge? Besides the fact that it goes to 700 MPH??? No?? OK, I'll tell you...it is calibrated in MPH, instead of knots! Very unusual, from what I was told, virtually ALL the WWII aircraft speedos were shown in knots, NOT MPH. And from what I've read, some of those Mustangs approached this top speed when diving! Maybe that's how this one got broken? (OK, just kidding...) Show up all those guys with their super cool "160 MPH Police Special" Speedos! This would be an outstanding and unique addition to any "Aircraft/Fighter/Bomber" style or Air Force tribute Hot Rod build. Since it is very old, and in damaged condition, assume IT DOES NOT OPERATE at all. THIS IS AN OLD/USED ITEM. ONE ONLY AVAILABLE

Russian Mig Cockpit Dash Clock
$219.00
Out of stock

SORRY, THIS ONE'S SOLD.  CONTACT US FOR AVAILABILITY!

Russian Mig Cockpit Dash Clock.  Here's one you don't see every day...I had several of these, and they all sold before I even had a chance to get them up on the site.  This is a genuine, RUSSIAN MIG dash clock.  These clocks are amazing quality, very heavy duty, and work via a wind-up clock spring.  Yep, that's right, they are NOT electrical, but wind-up!  They have a 15 jewel, 7 day movement.  The left button will wind up and set the time, the right button with the Cyrilic letters, (Russian Writing) will twist and stop the clock.  This model has a neat built in 1 hour timer on the lower center that is activated by pushing the red button.   There is a "faster-slower" lever on the back.  The condition is near perfect, with no visible wear or damage.  This clock was recently serviced by a Russian Aircraft Gauge specialist in Russia, and is in perfect working condition.  Face is approximately 3 3/8" across, and it looks like around a 3 1/8" hole for mounting.  Comes complete with all mounting hardware.  Be the first Hot Rod on your block with a cool Russian Mig Aircraft wind-up dash clock and everyone will want to know where you got it!

Vintage US Bomber Compass
$0.00
Out of stock

Vintage US Aircraft Bomber Compass.  Not exactly sure what era, but this is nearly indentical to the one that I sold that was manusfactured in 1951, so I figure this is likely from the 1950's.  The condition is nearly perfect, with no visible wear or damage, and it operates perfectly. This would make a great dash compass in any aircraft themed Hot Rod Build, or in any Hot Rod at all, for that matter...Screw the GPS and that "TomTom" BS, I can find my way pretty much where ever I need to go with one of these...can't everyone? That tube that runs from back across the top to the front is actually conduit for wire for the small light. Cool vintage piece.

Vietnam War Era Vintage US Aircraft Compass-Serial number has date of manufacture at 1-68.  Fluid has been topped up since picture was taken, so the liquid inside is now full.   Condition is amazing, with no visible wear and it operates perfectly.  This would make a great dash compass in any aircraft themed Hot Rod Build, or in any Hot Rod at all, for that matter...Screw the GPS and that "TomTom" BS, I can find my way pretty much where ever I need to go with one of these...can't everyone? It even has the wiring intact for the small light.  Cool vintage compass, for some reason I recall this might have been out of a helicopter, but I can't be absolutely sure of that.   Cool vintage piece.

1941 Arvin Model 520 AM Car Radio
$159.00

This is a vintage 1940/1941 Arvin AM Radio, model 520. It is in good overall condition, with some small areas of surface rust, (see photos) and the operating condition is unknown, so assume IT DOES NOT OPERATE at all. What I guess is the volume knob will not turn, but the tuner wheel with the station number on it operates fine. Cool looking, Art Deco "ARVIN" logo on it. This was found in a 1941 pickup being parted out. These are prized for vintage builds, just for the case. With the insides removed, they are used to house modern CD players. amps & other components. A fantastic idea, as it certainly would look perfect in any pre-1950 Hot Rod build. It is "ALL IN THE DETAILS", and this would be an outstanding detail! THIS ITEM IS OLD/USED - ONE ONLY AVAILABLE.
