Vintage WW II Russian Aircraft Dash Clock
$259.00

UPDATE:  After a couple years of searching, my Russian friend has finally located TWO of these incredible WWll dash clocks, as well as TWO of the OLDER WWl Style, along with an incredible TANK DASH CLOCK! The one pictured is in outstanding condition! It's been cleaned and serviced, ready to ship!  These are rare, so don't wait!  ORDER TODAY!

This is a very rare WWII era RUSSIAN Aircraft dash clock.  It is mechanical, not electric, is very high quality with a jeweled movement, and runs for 5 days on a wind up.  My research tells me it was likely used in smaller fighter aircraft, like the Polikarpov I-16 Ishak (Little Donkey).  This was the first monoplane airplane with a fully enclosed cockpit and retractable landing gear and was used during WWII.  These clocks are almost impossible to find these days, and when a Russian friend told me he had located 2 of them, I purchased them both.

These cool clocks have the look of an old European Auto Dash Clock.  They would make a great addition to any Hot Rod build!   They mount flush with 4 screws, like any old aircraft gauge.  They are 2 7/8" on the square, the dial is about 2 1/4" in diameter, and they stand about 3/4" tall. They are identical, except this one has a VERY small amount of corrosion on the face.  They do show a little wear here & there, but nothing of signifance.  Not surprising considering it's about 70 years old!   It looks MUCH worse in the photos than it actually does, but it is there, so this piece is priced accordingly. They are in excellent operating condition, and keep perfect time.  The small dial with a single hand on the left is a second hand.

I guarantee you will never see these on the car next to yours at your next Hot Rod Show!  I had 2 of these that were similar a couple years ago that I got from the same source, and I sold them both before I could even get them listed on the website.  They likely won't last long, so don't think about it too long...When these two are gone, that's it, THERE ARE NO MORE!

Early WWll Russian Bomber Dash Clock
$369.00

UPDATE:  After a couple years of searching, my Russian friend has finally located TWO of these incredible EARLY WWll dash clocks, as well as TWO of the slightly newer WWll Style, along with an incredible TANK DASH CLOCK! The one pictured is in outstanding condition! It's been cleaned and serviced, ready to ship!  These are rare, so don't wait!  ORDER TODAY!

This is a very rare EARLY WWII era RUSSIAN Aircraft dash clock. Don't forget the Russians were our staunch ALLIES during WWll, and were instrumental in ending the war with Nazi Germany!

These clocks are almost impossible to find these days, and when a Russian friend told me he had located 2 of them, I purchased them both.  (Boxtop picture just shows Crylic writing - Proof these WERE sent from the former USSR!)  These cool clocks have the look of an old European Auto Dash Clock.  They would make a great addition to any Hot Rod build!   They mount flush with 4 screws, like any old aircraft gauge.  They are 2 7/8" on the square, the dial is about 2 1/4" in diameter, and they stand about 3/4" tall.  They feature a black  out face, with "glow in the dark", (probably Radium?), numerals, hands and markings.   The two clocks I have listed here are the only ones of this type I have found in many years!  And believe me, I have looked!

They show a little wear here & there, but nothing of signifance.  Not surprising considering it's about 70 years old!  This clock is in excellent operating condition, and keeps perfect time.  The small dial with a single hand on the left is a second hand.

DRIVE-IN MOVIE SPEAKERS-PAIR
$79.00
Out of stock

Here's something you don't see anymore-genuine vintage drive-in movie speakers!  The coolest way to add speakers to your Hot Rod or Custom!

This is THE SOLUTION to the age old problem of where to place speakers in a Hot Rod for your radio or stereo!  These are made of cast metal, and they have the name of the drive-in, in this case "EPRAD" cast into the front cover.  While they are complete,  you should assume theY do not operate, and will need new speakers & re-wiring to operate properly.  They are compact, 7 3/4" tall, 4 3/4" wide, and 3" deep.  They use a 4" speaker.  I added a set of 4", 2-way speakers to a pair, and they sounded fantastic!   There are many different speakers that will fit this case, 2 ways, 3 ways with tweeters & midrange built in, so you'll have lots of options.  The hanger sticks out another 2 1/2", with a small metal tab on it.   They come complete with 2 Stainless Steel mounting loops.

These are the perfect size to hang from the lower kick panels in any Hot Rod or Custom, and if you wanted awesome surround sound in a sedan, add another pair to the rear package tray and ROCK OUT!  These could be plated, powder coated, painted to match, polished, patinated or just used as is-they look great!  You could wire them up using "curly" wire, and when you park your car, pull them out & hang them from the windshield or side windows, and have great sounding tunes outside!  I sold a bunch of these at shows and thought I'd sold out, but I just found a box with a few pairs in it, so here they are!  I wouldn't wait too long, because when they're gone, that's it, there ARE NO MORE!

Ball End Toggle Switch-SPST

A Hot Rod Leather exclusive, not available anywhere else!

Here's a heavy duty Toggle Switch unlike any you've seen lately.  It has something that is impossible to find these days- what's called a "Ball End Toggle".    These were pretty common back in the day, and I've seen some in vintage catalogs, but these days,  they are extremely rare if you can find them at all.  These and the "Switch Guards" were used in industrial machine & equipment applications, and in environments where gloves were worn, (like aircraft, roadsters & race cars), making it easier to feel and actuate the switch.

This is a heavy duty switch, made for applications like headlights, fans or any other automotive type switching.  They have solid brass screw on terminals on the back, and requires a 1/2" hole for mounting.  Comes with small aluminum "On-Off" legend plate, jamb nut, and knurled face nut.  Shown with optional leather "On-Off Legend Plate", and our new nickel plated "Switch Gardz".

Brass screw terminals-frame and support are steel with zinc chromate, case is black phenolic plasic-All other external parts are brass/bright nickel
