Here's a heavy duty Toggle Switch unlike any you've seen lately. It has something that is impossible to find these days- what's called a "Ball End Toggle". These were pretty common back in the day, and I've seen some in vintage catalogs, but these days, they are extremely rare if you can find them at all. These and the "Switch Guards" were used in industrial machine & equipment applications, and in environments where gloves were worn, (like aircraft, roadsters & race cars), making it easier to feel and actuate the switch.
This is a heavy duty switch, made for applications like headlights, fans or any other automotive type switching. They have solid brass screw on terminals on the back, and requires a 1/2" hole for mounting. Comes with small aluminum "On-Off" legend plate, jamb nut, and knurled face nut. Shown with optional leather "On-Off Legend Plate", and our new nickel plated "Switch Gardz".
Brass screw terminals-frame and support are steel with zinc chromate, case is black phenolic plasic-All other external parts are brass/bright nickel
