At Hot Rod Leather, nothing is more important to us than you are.  We strive to provide something that appears to be in short supply these days, remarkable customer service and a quality product at a fair price.  Complete satisfaction is our ultimate goal, and we will always do our best to provide it.  We want you to be so impressed with our service, and so happy with your purchase from our store, that you tell all your friends about us!  
If at any time you have a question about any of our products, please contact us!    We do try to respond to all inquiries as quickly as possible.  We are a small and growing business, so at times, it may take us a few hours to get back to you, but  we will always do our best to provide you with the answers you need to make an informed decision about what products will work best for your application.

We understand and share your concern about security and privacy. It is reassuring to know that it's statistically safer to use your credit card on the web than to use it in a store or restaurant. The information that you provide when placing an order with Hot Rod Leather (e.g., your credit card number, name & address) is secure - it cannot be read or tampered with during transmission.

Hot Rod Leather is hosted by Bluehost on its secure servers and our orders are processed using the latest and safest shopping cart on the market. As such, our checkout process uses industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology to encrypt and scramble all personal information including your name, address, and credit card information so that it may not be read by others as it travels over the internet.

For your security, we authorize your credit card after we obtain confirmation that your card is a valid number and has not been reported lost or stolen. We also verify that the "Bill to" address matches the address on the credit card used. It is not uncommon for a request for credit card authorization to fail at times. If we experience such difficulties, we will contact you and you may wish to provide another credit card.

NOTE: E-mail is not encrypted, so please do not transmit your credit card number via e-mail.

Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, the maximum that your bank can require you pay for any fraudulent charge on your credit card is up to $50. Should you ever suspect a fraudulent charge on your credit card, notify your credit card company immediately as you would for any other unauthorized charge.



The Hot Rod Leather website is hosted by Bluehost. Bluehost hosts the store pages, ordering system, and the order data. They collect no specific data regarding your orders, using your information only in aggregate fiorm to compose reports and sales statistics.

Hot Rod Leather will never sell, trade or rent any customer or gift recipient e-mail address or personal information to any third party, EVER. We hate SPAM as much as anyone!  Nor will we share your information with any third party, except to the extent necessary to fulfill an order or when the outside party is strictly acting on our behalf with no independent right to use the information we provide. We may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns and related site information to certain reputable third party vendors, but these statistics will not include any identifying personal information. We may disclose personal information, however, in the event that we are required by law.

Our order form collects customer contact information such as name, address, e-mail address and telephone number, and credit card financial information needed to process and bill an order. The contact information is used to send information about orders and our company to our customers, fulfill orders, and get in touch with customers if necessary for customer service or questions about an order. We may also use customer information and the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet to improve the content of our site, and  to improve your shopping experience.

We also collect contact information about gift recipients to ensure correct gift delivery. From time to time, we may send special offers and information about new items or features to our valued customers and gift recipients. The recipient may always opt out of receiving future mailings.

Hot Rod Leather does not use cookies to track customer movement on our site; however, our shopping cart program may use cookies to facilitate the checkout process. . If you have set your browser to disable cookies, you may still make purchases at our site, but functionality may be limited. Remember, you may always place an order by calling or emailing us.
